Field Archery Course

Ready for the ultimate challenge?

Try the Bullock Road Bows field archery course.

Located in the stunning bush setting in the heart of our National treasure – the Nelson Lakes – this course is certain to get your adrenaline pumping.

Field archery has rapidly become the most popular form of archery. It began as a way for hunters to sharpen their skills in preparation for the hunt. It differs from target shooting where the targets are in an open field at set distances, instead, the targets are dotted around a bush setting. Each target varies in size, shape, and distance from the shooter. For those looking for an extra challenge some targets are designed to move!

For more fun than mini-golf, try a real challenge and come experience the thrill of the hunt as you shoot arrows into larger than life-size pests. Do your bit to help eradicate noxious pest in our national park region. Bring your friends and discover how competitive they really are!

Don’t worry if you are a rank amateur, everyone gets kitted out with our professional equipment and given all lessons you need to be confident on the all-ages archery course. By the end of the fully guided field archery course you will be ready for The Hunger Games.

If you would like to bring your own equipment and sharpen your skills we can cater for you too.

Allow 1 to 1.5 hours to complete the full course.
